The goals of the Self-Study Workshop offered by the staff of the ATS Commission include reducing or eliminating the aura of mystery that surrounds the comprehensive accreditation process, providing an array of tools with which the participants may develop more effective institutional self-studies, and offering a venue for participant questions.

In this Web site, the intention is to recreate such a workshop online so that those who have been to a traditional workshop may revisit sections as the need for refreshment may arise, and those who are unable to attend a traditional workshop may reap similar benefits.

The sections of the Web site are this Welcome, in which you can hear from a self-study director who "survived" the process. Subsequent sections provide an Introduction with links to Basic Resources and information on Assessment, Data, The Self-Study, and The Visit. The final section is a self-developed and expanding FAQ, with an opportunity to raise additional questions and receive responses.
