SPAN Mission Statement 

The Student Personnel Administrators' Network (SPAN) of The Association of Theological Schools seeks to support and develop student affairs professionals in their ministry. Student Personnel Administrators are people who support students in theological education from recruitment through graduation and include but are not limited to Deans of Students, Admissions Directors, and Registrars.

To this end, SPAN seeks to:

  • Provide a collegial network for support and information sharing;
  • Provide educational and professional development opportunities;
  • Be an advocate for the place of student services within the professional realm of theological education.

Leadership of SPAN will be rotated among the membership and supported by ATS.
