The Self-Study for Distribution
-
Binding: The preferred method is spiral, side-bound. Three-ring binders tend to open in
transit, and sewn or perfect-bound copies are difficult to read. Please include an electronic copy on CD as well.
- Single space the report.
- Front and back covers are paper rather than heavy cardstock, plastic, etc.
Place the date on the cover (month and year of the visit).
- Print the pages of the report duplex (i.e., double-sided).
- Send three copies of the self-study report to the ATS Commission and only one of any
appendices or related documents (handbooks, catalogs, etc.). Please send complete self-study
sets directly to individual team members.
- Do not include promotional videos.
- Send the reports to the Commission and to the chair sixty days before the visit and to
the other members of the visiting committee thirty days before the visit. For institutions
that are dually accredited: Some regional agencies have different time-tables and delivery
directions for the submission of self-studies, which might affect your production timelines.
