Lisa Kern joined the staff in 2003 to assist with implementing the ATS communications plan, which includes print and electronic publications, the website, media relations, and supporting the programs and services offered to the Association’s membership. She edits and desktop publishes materials for ATS programs and leadership education events, creates online announcements and registrations for those events, and maintains certain areas of the Association's website. In addition, she strategizes with fellow staff members on how to effectively reach their audiences for specific events.
Before arriving at ATS, Kern worked as a staffing manager for The Creative Group and OfficeTeam divisions of Robert Half International and as the marketing and public relations coordinator for the Pittsburgh Center for the Arts. She earned a BA in journalism/mass communication with minors in marketing and theater at St. Bonaventure University.
