Accreditation Notes:
In February 2014, the Board of Commissioners approved an exception to residency requirements, allowing the school to offer the Master of Divinity, the MA in Christian Education, and the MA in Missiology programs completely online. In February 2016, the Board approved an exception to residency requirements, allowing the school to offer the MA in Discipleship and the MA in Pastoral Ministry programs completely online. In June 2016, the Board approved a three-year experiment that affords an exception to the residency requirements that stipulate for the Doctor of Philosophy that courses, seminars, and colloquia for research doctoral degrees shall normally be completed on the main campus; in light of the Board's approval, this experiment would limit these offerings (roughly two-thirds of the PhD program's total credits) by way of synchronous interactive video, not through asynchronous means.
