W. Anne Joh is professor of theology and culture at Garrett-Evangelical Theological Seminary. She is also the director of Asian American Ministry Center and the associate faculty affiliate in the departments of Religious Studies and Asian American Studies at Northwestern University. Her publications include Heart of the Cross: A Postcolonial Christology (Louisville: Westminster John Knox Press, 2006), Engaging the United States as a Military Empire: Critical Studies of Christianity from Asian/Asian North American Perspectives (Ed. Anne Joh and Nami Kim, New York, NY: Palgrave, 2016), and Terror, Trauma, and Mourning: A Postcolonial Theology of Hope, forthcoming from Fordham University Press. Joh earned her PhD from Drew University.
