James Barber is director of field education and assistant professor of practical theology at Oral Roberts University Graduate School of Theology and Ministry. He is also interim director of the DMin program. As the director of field education, his desire is to develop vocationally excellent leaders and individuals ready to serve practically as ministers in the church, as well as in the community. Barber is involved in several ministries, both in the community and congregationally in Tulsa. He is an ordained minister through “World Ministry Fellowship” Plano, Texas. Barber received both a Master's of Divinity degree and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Oral Roberts University.
