Jerry W. Henry has provided counsel to organizations as a partner at Alexander Haas, a national fundraising consulting firm in Atlanta, for nearly two decades. He has worked with more than 150 clients across the country in the higher education, cultural, human service, and faith-based arenas, and he provides practical guidance based on his 35+ years of experience in the nonprofit field. Henry is a past president of the Yale University Divinity School Alumni Board, a past president of the Atlanta Chapter of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, and a current member of the Yale University Divinity School Dean’s Advisory Council. He also serves as an executive officer on the Association of Yale Alumni Board of Governors, where he most recently chaired the Graduate and Professional Schools Committee. He was the national executive director of the Fellowship of United Methodists in Worship, Music and Other Arts from 1983 through 1990. Henry holds an MDiv degree from Yale University Divinity School, was ordained in the South Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church, and is now an Episcopal layperson.
