Leanne Van Dyk is president and professor of theology at Columbia Theological Seminary. She accepted this new call in the spring of 2015 and now serves as the tenth president of the seminary. Formerly, she was the dean and vice president of academic affairs and professor of reformed theology at Western Theological Seminary in Holland, Michigan. Her first call to theological education teaching was to San Francisco Theological Seminary and the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, California. She is the author of numerous publications, including Believing in Jesus Christ (Geneva Press) and A More Profound Alleluia: Theology and Worship in Harmony (Eerdmans). Her main interests in theology include worship and sacraments.Van Dyk earned an MA from Western Michigan University, an MDiv from Calvin Theological Seminary, and a PhD from Princeton Theological Seminary.
