Welcome

The Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada (ATS) is a membership organization of more than 250 graduate schools that conduct post-baccalaureate professional and academic degree programs to educate persons for the practice of ministry and for teaching and research in the theological disciplines. The Commission on Accrediting of ATS accredits the schools and approves the degree programs they offer.

First findings from the Financially Stressed Schools project
The project was launched in mid-May with a one-day think tank that brought together a group of chief financial officers from member schools and industry experts from InTrust and the Auburn Center for the Study of Theological Education. The group assessed the current economy-driven circumstances in theological education and began to think in terms of future solutions.
