Linda D. Trostle joined the ATS staff in 2004 as a communications coordinator. She is responsible for implementing the ATS communications plan, which includes print and electronic publications, the website, and supporting the programs and services offered to the Association’s membership. As managing editor of the Association's journal, Theological Education, Trostle serves as liaison between the editorial staff, editorial board, and authors and executes all phases of production, from copyediting and desktop publishing manuscripts to delivery of bound books and posting of electronic files. Trostle also works closely with accrediting staff to create and maintain print and electronic publications for both the Commission on Accrediting and Board of Commissioners.
Trostle has been published in a number of regional publications and has received several writing awards, including The Association for Women in Communications Matrix Award for a four-part feature story series.
Before coming to ATS, Trostle owned and managed Lemstone Books, a Christian book store, and held various administrative positions at Frito-Lay and Alltel. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication (Journalism) with a minor in English from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania and is currently studying at Trinity School for Ministry in the Master of Arts (Religion) degree program.
