2026 ATS Roundtable Seminar for Newly Appointed Faculty

Price: TBD
  • Price: $350.00

Overview

By application (opening soon!); This year's Roundtable Seminar for Newly Appointed Faculty centers on the theme, Understanding  Oneself in The Ecosystem of Theological Education. When starting one's faculty career, it is crucial to see yourself as an individual within a larger system and understand the different ways you work connects. Faculty are asked to be scholars, teachers, and participate in institutional life in an ever-changing educational landscape.

With that in mind, this gathering focuses on the exploration of the ecosystem of theological education as the event’s overarching theme. Participants will have a chance to talk about publishing, teaching, and institutional service with deans and other leaders to help them map their own professional journey.

We aim to help new faculty members not only see themselves surviving, but flourishing in their vocation and contributing to the work of their institution and theological education at large. We also plan to address changes in faculty culture and faculty responsibilities. In addition, we see the most important aspect of this gathering as building relationships with peers and having conversation across experiences.

Event questions can be directed to Saren Williams.
