Roger Finke is a distinguished professor of sociology and international affairs at the Pennsylvania State University. He is the author of five books and scores of research articles. As the founder and current codirector of the Association of Religion Data Archives (www.theARDA.com), he works with colleagues and students to provide access to the best data on religion for classroom use and research.

Kayla Kemp is a research associate for the Association of Religion Data Archives and a PhD candidate in the Department of Sociology at Penn State University. In her role at the ARDA, she develops teaching resources, coordinates social media, and processes data for the ever-expanding online archive. Kemp has also taught the ARDA's "Exploring Religion" online course as an instructor of record at Penn State.
