Lysette Flores joined The Association of Theological Schools (ATS) as associate director of initiatives in January 2026. In this role, she curates and leads the virtual learning infrastructure for the Pathways for Tomorrow Coordination program, an initiative funded by Lilly Endowment Inc. Her responsibilities include managing communications with grantees, overseeing reporting processes in collaboration with Lilly Endowment, and evaluating the impact of initiatives through data tracking and analysis. She also facilitates virtual learning communities and supports the strategic development of programming that strengthens theological education across North America.

Prior to joining ATS, Flores served as assistant director for field education at Harvard Divinity School, where she led communications, training, and onboarding for MDiv graduate students each year across diverse ministry contexts. She designed learning experiences for students and supervisors, strengthened institutional workflows, and implemented digital tools to streamline reporting and program evaluation. In addition, she managed multi-stakeholder collaborations across faculty, staff, HR partners, and community organizations.

Since 2018, Flores has also served as program manager for the Fellowship for Emerging Leaders in Ministry, a Lilly Endowment Thriving in Ministry initiative. She has designed and facilitated yearlong virtual and hybrid cohort programming, analyzed participant data to inform curriculum development, and partnered with Syracuse University and LeMoyne College to implement ongoing program improvements. Her earlier experience includes directing campus ministry at Bishop Lynch High School, teaching elementary education in the Diocese of San Jose, and contributing to community-based family programming through field education work.

Flores holds a Master of Theological Studies in religion, ethics, and politics from Harvard Divinity School, where she was a Dean’s Fellow and National Hispanic Scholar. She also participated in the University Consortium for Catholic Education at Santa Clara University, where she completed pedagogical training and teaching service as part of the Master of Arts in Teaching program. Flores earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in entrepreneurial studies, magna cum laude, from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio. Her academic and professional work reflects her commitment to strengthening ministerial formation, supporting diverse learning communities, and advancing theological education.

Tracy Riggle Young joined The Association of Theological Schools (ATS) as associate director of initiatives in January 2026. In this position, she helps lead the Pathways for Tomorrow Coordination Program, an initiative funded by Lilly Endowment Inc. to support theological schools in adapting to changing ministry contexts and building sustainable futures. Her work includes fostering peer learning among grantees, guiding evaluation strategies, and designing virtual learning communities to strengthen theological education across North America.

Prior to her time at ATS, Riggle Young spent more than eight years at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, where she held leadership roles in enrollment management and program development. Most recently, she served as associate dean of enrollment management and oversaw recruitment, retention, and financial aid while developing an innovative hybrid Master’s program and a Doctor of Ministry program. Her earlier positions included senior director of enrollment services and director of enrollment and retention, where she led enrollment strategies and program development. Before her time at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, she worked in admissions at Union Theological Seminary and served as a volunteer alumni/ae recruiter for Denison University. She began her career in education through Teach for America and The Neighborhood Academy.

Riggle Young has been an active participant in ATS programming, such as the Student Personnel Administrators’ Network, Women in Leadership, and CFO conferences and served as a mentor and steering committee member for ATS initiatives. She is also a peer reviewer for the Middle States Commission on Higher Education.

With an MA in systematic theology and doctoral studies in social ethics from Union Theological Seminary in New York City, Riggle Young holds a BA in religion and psychology from Denison University. She is a ruling elder at Bower Hill Community Church and has served on boards supporting local educational and scholarship programs.
