  • Project Description: The New Wineskins Network is a five-year initiative to build a network of local congregations, clergy partners, laity, and seminary faculty and staff to address the isolation and resource anxiety experienced by both current local congregational leaders and future clergy in training within Boston University School of Theology's master's programs. Part of this work will be to develop and maintain collegial relationships out of which ministry collaborations can grow to address pressing community needs. This New Wineskins Network will then undergird an innovative new model of contextual field education that supports the formation of future clergy to be hope-filled, adaptable, collaborative leaders with the relational capacity to leverage many resources within a local community to face today's and future ministry challenges.
