  • Project Title: The Encounter Project
  • Project Description: The Encounter Project seeks to revitalize its role as a center of pastoral formation rooted in the Dominican intellectual and spiritual tradition (1) by creating a more welcoming and dialogical environment for student learning, which we believe will in turn lead to (2) an expansion of the congregations served by the faculty (including Dominican provinces and congregations from abroad, including in the developing world), thus (3) increasing the size of the student body, generating new tuition revenue, and increasing the fruitfulness of the school in its formation of the future pastoral leaders of the Church. In addition, this project will (4) provide the administrative infrastructure to expand the annual fundraising of the school and to prepare a long-term strategic growth plan, to provide for a long-term sustainable future for the school.
