  • Project Title: Foundations, Formation, Fellowship: A Holistic Approach to Ministry Leadership
  • Project Description: Knox Theological Seminary (KTS) is launching a transformative initiative to reimagine theological education in alignment with its mission: to educate men and women to declare and demonstrate the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Informed by multiple institutional assessments—including the Wise Stewards Initiative, ATS consultations, and Spring 2024 strategic planning—this initiative responds directly to the evolving needs of pastors and church leaders. It addresses three critical gaps: access to ministry training, competency in organizational leadership, and peer-based support for sustained vocational health. By integrating innovative educational models with robust leadership formation, KTS seeks to equip both pastors and lay leaders for faithful, sustainable ministry while also securing institutional resilience in an increasingly complex ministry landscape.
  • Project Area: Organizational partnerships and networks | Business model innovation | Church vitality and equipping lay leaders | Competency-based models | Congregational and denominational collaborations | Diversifying students and curricula | Non-degree and continuing/lifelong learning | Non-residential education | Spiritual direction and student formation | Student affordability and resourcing | Upskilling pastoral and ministerial leaders
  • Project Start Date: 25-Oct-01
  • Project End Date: 30-Dec-31
  • Project Amount: $1,000,000
