  • Project Description: New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary wants to prepare servants in the Hispanic community. Through Preparando Siervos, we aim to increase our ability to provide resources and build relationships that prepare leaders of the Hispanic Church to meet the spiritual needs of their congregations. In order to accomplish our goal, we will deploy the following strategies. First, we will create the position of "Hispanic Church Health Strategist," to ensure that our academic programs and other training events meet the needs of Hispanic churches. The strategist will be responsible for facilitating missional partnerships between churches and ministry resource organizations. Second, through conferences and training events, we will strengthen our ability to equip leaders. Already serving hundreds through our Abre Mis Ojos conference, we want to expand to offer additional conference and training events. Lastly, we will expand long-term training through accredited academic programs offered in Spanish.
