  • Project Description: Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, will collaborate with Concordia Theological Seminary, Ft. Wayne, and others to engage the congregations of the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod in recruiting future pastors and deaconesses, with a deliberate focus on forming pastors and deaconesses from a variety of backgrounds. Our goals are to develop pre-seminary resources to prepare prospective students to thrive in their seminary studies, to offer more classes, seminars, and experiences to prepare our students for evangelistic outreach and church revitalization, and to expand our continuing education offerings to include administration and leadership. We will also update and strengthen our Spanish-language curriculum for the Center for Hispanic Studies (CHS) and our curriculum for the Ethnic Immigrant Institute of Theology (EIIT).
