  • Project Description: Grand Canyon Theological Seminary (GCTS) will serve as lead school in developing the Flourishing Pastor Network (FPN), a scalable network focused on establishing pastoral residencies. Initially, FPN will consist of six organizations: GCTS, Northwest Nazarene Divinity School, Palm Beach Atlantic University, Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, Trinity Anglican Seminary, and Made to Flourish. Central objectives include: 1) Increasing the capacity of seminaries to prepare and support pastoral leaders; 2) Developing and improving pastoral residencies that require partnerships between seminaries and churches; and 3) Developing a sustainable network of seminaries and churches that will support pastoral residencies beyond the grant period. Network organizations will engage and support church partners in the establishment and maintenance of pastoral residencies.
