  • Project Title: Collaborative Initiative for Ministerial Formations and Sustainability
  • Project Description: Knox College -- together with the Toronto School of Theology, Emmanuel, Regis, St. Michael's and Trinity Colleges -- proposes a major initiative to strengthen the preparation of and long-term support for Christian pastoral leaders. We will establish a Ministry and Pastoral Services Hub to coordinate student services, experiential learning, student placements, strategic enrollment management, and curriculum rationalization. We will also launch a Procurement and Shared Services Initiative to reduce administrative duplication, streamline fixed costs, improve institutional efficiency, share physical spaces, and inform collective longer-term strategic planning. Creating a shared endowment through a special fundraising campaign will ensure long-term financial stability of core functions of ministry formation programs. These steps will permit collaborators to direct resources and energies to the formation of ministerial leaders equipped to serve the Church -- and the world.
