  • Project Title: The Florida Cooperative of Theological Schools
  • Project Description: We are building a regional cooperative model for theological education within South Florida. The first component provides shared staffing for recruitment, fundraising, strategic planning, and spiritual formation. The second component develops a model of educational-ecclesial partnerships, reimagining the "house" model in a cooperative light. Local judicatory leaders will collaborate with theological schools to support the formation of excellent pastoral leaders within the Anglican, Baptist, Catholic, Mainline Protestant, Reformed, Wesleyan, Black Church, and Hispanic Latino traditions, alongside a house dedicated to the study and practice of Christian spiritual formation. The third component establishes The Boisen Agency for pastoral leadership formation to serve the region with affordable, innovative clinical pastoral education. Our final component is faculty networking for curricular development and teaching effectiveness within our context.
