  • Project Description: New Horizons seeks to create an enduring collaborative endeavor to support the next generation of congregational leaders through the following: 1) Recruitment, particularly of highly committed young adult leaders who are already embedded in underserved communities that represent new apostolic horizons within the Church (mission dioceses, Hispanic communities, college campuses, etc.); 2) Development of cohort-based discernment opportunities that enable these leaders to experience and consider personally the graduate education that is typically needed for ecclesial ministry; 3) Affordable formation programs, made possible through scholarships and stipends; and 4) Networks for job placements, particularly within the partner organizations and in those communities most in need.
