Overview

The Association of Theological Schools and McCormick Theological Seminary invite you to join us for Disrupting Trauma: The Power and Promise of Theological Formation (previously called Trauma and Spirituality Conference 2.0). 

Participants will engage in:

• Inspiring plenary sessions with leading scholars and practitioners
• Interactive workshops and breakout conversations
• Contemplative and embodied practices for grounding and renewal
• Community-building spaces centered on healing, resilience, and faithful imagination 

Together, we will explore how theological formation can cultivate not only resilience, but renewal—creating space for healing, post-traumatic growth, and new possibilities within our institutions and communities.
