By registration; Globalizing Conversations: Distinct Contexts, Shared Horizons—ATESEA and ATS in Partnership will highlight the work of the Association for Theological Education in Southeast Asia (ATESEA) and its vital contributions to theological education in Asia and beyond. This webinar will explore ATESEA’s work in quality assurance and accreditation, institutional development, leadership formation, and the cultivation of theological education attentive to Asia’s diverse cultural, ecclesial, religious, and social realities. The conversation will highlight the longstanding partnership between ATESEA and ATS—a relationship grounded not simply in organizational cooperation, but in shared work and a common commitment to strengthening theological education.

The 90-minute webinar will feature a presentation by Limuel Equina, followed by a Q&A and open discussion period. Together, participants will consider what the two associations, rooted in distinct contexts, have learned and can continue to learn from each another; how their differences enrich their shared horizons; and what becomes possible when global partnership is practiced as mutual formation and learning.

This webinar is part of the Globalizing Conversations: Mission, Formation, Partnerships series of the ATS Global Awareness and Engagement Initiative. The series explores the intersections of theological education, intercultural formation, and global partnerships. It provides a platform for students, faculty, administrators, and ministry leaders from ATS member schools and its global partners to discuss issues in these areas.
