Dec 7

By registration; As student personnel administrators in theological education, we serve and nurture the vocations and personal well-being of the students in our schools in a variety of ways, but how often do we pause to reflect on how our unique work fulfills our own sense of calling and vocation? Although few of us knew ahead of time that our callings could or would be lived out in the spaces where we find ourselves serving today, now that we are here, we can (and, we would argue, must) take time to nurture our vocations and take time for self-care in this work so that we can be sustained for the long run.  Join us for a time of reflecting on our stories and sharing with colleagues as we practice together getting back to the basics of how to best nurture ourselves and each other in this vital yet exhausting work!

Webinar
Jan 27

By registration; This free webinar will present highlights from the Fall 2021 Entering Student Questionnaire (ESQ). We’ll focus on data related to pathways to seminary, plans for work and dependent care, educational debt, online education, and the vocational goals of students. Particular attention will be made to any shifts we’ve seen in those classes that began their degrees during the pandemic. This webinar is designed for academic administrators and would also be beneficial for any faculty and board members who are interested in trends in theological education.
